Overview Fishing Inlet Experience Multi-venture Tours Other Adventures
Whale Watching This area has been called the Orca capital of the world. Pods of killer whales abound. A morning boat trip will usually be rewarded with the stunning site of plumes of steam and dorsal fins rising over mirror-smooth waters. Being up-close to some of the most beautiful and fascinating creatures on the planet is a real treat and a memory you will not soon forget. Our guides will give you a peek into the lives and rituals of these magnificent mammals.
Kayaking

Experience the tranquil waters of the Northwest Passage up close in one of our single or two-passenger sea kayaks. Glide silently through deep blue waters. Explore marshland and small inlets, encountering eagles, seals, sea birds. Set your own pace for exercise or adventure. For an unforgettable adventure take a half-day paddle with the whales lead by a local guide.
Sight Seeing

The waters around Malcolm Island offer many opportunities for exploration. One favorite is a half-day scenic trip to the Native Cultural Center in Alert Bay and the abandoned native village of Mamalalacula. Adventures don't have to be water-bound. Take a bike into town. Beachcombing and hiking are right out the front door. And if all this activity sounds too taxing, there's nothing wrong with doing nothing at all. In fact, we make it easy with a great deck for reading and a hammock for naps -- accompanied by a glass of fine wine if you wish.
