And that is why we've created the new multi-venture trips at Sund's Lodge. Starting this September, we are offering 3-night, and 4-day trips that highlight the majestic qualities of the Blackfish Sound area.
Over your four-day stay at Sund's Lodge, you will have numerous opportunities to explore the surrounding area and try your hand at many different kinds of adventures. Each day, you get to choose where your curiosity lies.
Packages include:
- floatplane from Seattle's Lake Union
- all meals prepared daily by our chef, spirits and fine wines from around the world
- complimentary use of the Lodge facilities including nature trails, hot tubs and sauna, bicycles, conference center with pool table
Daily options include:
- bear watching along Knight Inlet
- sea kayak between hundreds of uninhabited islands
- whale watching for Orcas and Humpback whales in Blackfish Sound
- guided hiking trips on uninhabited coastal islands
- tours of the local Native culture including a visit to the U'mista Cultural Center to view elaborately carved cedar masks of the Kwakwaka'wakw People and a visit to the eerie abandoned village of Mamalalacula
