Our chefs are some of the finest on the West Coast. We select true artists who work hard to create a culinary experience not to be forgotten. Many move into their own restaurants after a few seasons at Sund's Lodge. Many are also world travelers themselves that can blend exciting international flavors into their cuisine.

Simon Vine
Executive Chef

Simon came to work at Sund’s Lodge before the 2005 summer campaign and did an extraordinary job.  Combining new cuisine and new pairings of old classics, Simon re-energized the food program at Sund’s Lodge.  He also became an island legend by rocking the campfire almost nightly with his legendary guitar.

Favorite Food:  “I'm a chef I like it all...but, I can never get enough chips and salsa.  Also my mom's home made lasagna, a perfectly cooked piece of halibut, anything thai (especially the spicy stuff).”
