The weather is phenomenal, the water like glass, and the guides know where to find the "slabs". But there is so much more to experience during your stay at Sund's Lodge. As one guest described it, "Our first morning out, we got into a nice school of salmon and I landed a big one early on. But even more impressive was watching 30 to 40 bald eagles feeding on the bait fish a few yards from our boat. Three or four otters popped up through the waters a few feet from us after capturing some pinks [salmon]. Later, in a another spot, we saw a pod of orcas break in the channel, and had some porpoise follow us in as we made our way back for lunch. It was literally breathtaking. I could only imagine what the next day would be like. Two days into my stay, I started planning next year's trip."
